Brooke Middlebrook is a writer from western Massachusetts living in Birmingham, Alabama. She recently received her MFA in nonfiction from Bennington College. Her latest work can be found in Lost Balloon, Fugue, and Best New Poets 2025.

She works as a medical writer specializing in pharmaceutical publications and holds a BS in biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
